1. Honda Uni-Cub
Honda recently introduced the Honda Uni-Cub – the latest generation of Honda’s smart personal car, suitable for moving both indoors and outdoors . The maximum speed of this vehicle is 6 km/h (about 3.7 mph) with a range of 6 km (about 3.7 miles), equivalent to about 10,000 steps. 2. Honda Wanderstand
This is a classic car design model of Honda , which will be launched at the Tokyo Motor Show in early November 2015. With a 2-seater design , this model will bring ” the feeling of comfort and convenience just like the concept of Wander – roam freely” , according to Honda.
3. Honda Wander Walker
Also at the Tokyo Motor Show, Honda will unveil this Wander Walker , an electric, sporty and powerful four-wheel scooter with wooden trims .
4. Toyota Winglet
Toyota also wants to join the competition in the production of personal vehicles, with a new design called the Winglet , a Segway- style personal car with self-balancing capabilities .
5. I Hawk
Launched in February 2015, the IO Hawk doesn’t look like a skateboard, but it’s well worth the money. It has a speed of approximately 6 mph (about 10 km/h) and weighs less than 10 kg. Its price isn’t cheap , though , starting at around $1,800. It will take 3 – 5 minutes to get used to driving this device, according to the manufacturer, after which it will operate very smoothly for 10 – 12 miles (about 16 – 19 km).
6. OneWheel
This car simply has one wheel , suitable for those who travel in cities and are fond of and knowledgeable about technology. This vehicle can go through rough terrain and is also capable of self-balancing . The speed is 15 mph (about 24 km/h) and can travel about 7 miles (about 11 km) if fully charged. Its price is about 1,500 USD.
7. Bike it
This range of e-bikes allows you to glide down the street at up to 14 mph (approximately 23 km/h). This car can be fully charged in 1 hour 30 minutes, is built from high-quality materials , so its price is around 5,000 USD. There’s also a nice bright carbon fiber version for $8,000. Its sitting position is quite special, so the manufacturer says users need about 30 minutes to get used to and be able to drive it comfortably .
8. Toyota i-Road
A line of electric vehicles promises to bring exciting feelings to the driver. Toyota calls it a “trike” – a three-wheeler , with only one rear wheel . The ability to select the angle of inclination when turning makes it feel like skiing . The car was tested in Grenoble (France) and Tokyo, under a year-long program with more than 100 people. Toyota said it will soon officially launch this model in the near future.
9. WalkCar
This car looks like a laptop , except you can safely step on it. This is an achievement of the Japanese, WalkCar is simply a device that moves on the street that you will control with your body’s movements . As soon as you step out of it, the car will automatically stop. Manufacturer Cocoa Motors will soon launch a campaign to develop this model.
10.Hitachi ROPITS
ROPITS – short for “Robot for Personal Intelligent Transport System” , is a mini car that can pick up and drop off passengers to any location installed through a smartphone application. The vehicle can also be controlled by a joystick located in the cockpit.
11. Toyota FV2
If you want to drive a car into the future, step aboard this elegant single-seater Toyota FV2 . This 3-meter-long electric vehicle is a demonstration of the future smart car concept . Toyota says this car can understand the temperament and habits of the user, creating the most comfortable experience true to its name FV – Fun Vehicle .
